Yesterday, the amazing team at StudioPress launched a new child theme; the Minimum Child Theme (affiliate link). It’s a great minimalist design and me, being the fanatic that I am, I just had to find a way (and domain) to implement it on. So after a few hours of work, a glass or two of bourbon and a little Pandora to keep me company, here’s what I came up with…

Can you help me out?
I truly enjoy professional public speaking so if you know of anyone who’s looking for a speaker who can provide valuable education to a group of real estate professionals on developing an online marketing strategy through the use of blogs and lead generating IDX, I’d love it if you helped make an introduction.
Here’s a few ways you can help me spread the word about my new site:
- Hit the “Like” button on the footer of the homepage,
- Click here to Tweet about it,
- Share a link to the site with your Association Executive or Conference Organizer,
Other than that, feel free to poke around the site and check things out. Let me know if you find anything whacky that might need a little fixing.
Moving forward I’ll be doing a better job of posting conference photos with attendees, video interviews with other speakers, and my presentation slide-decks & videos on that site. I haven’t done a good job of that to date. But the new site and theme inspires me to change that.
Also, I’ve been using Posterous to post photos that I capture while out at events. I’ll be changing that and posting that photo and more multi-media content on the new site. I figure this way, I have content centralized in one location that I own and control and ultimately, I want to make it a more interactive destination with attendees and other folks that I meet at conferences.
That makes sense, doesn’t it?
What do you think?
How do you like the new site? How do you think I can make it more interactive for people that I meet at the various conferences I’m attending? What can I change to make it better?
Want to try the theme yourself?
If you have already purchased the Genesis Theme Framework and any other child theme previously, you can simply purchase the child package by itself, otherwise you will need to purchase the Minimum + Genesis Theme package.
