This weekend I spent a fair amount of time re-writing the new sales page for my upcoming Real Estate Blog Topics launch.
I spent several hours writing 1,000+ words of sales copy.
Well, have you ever accidentally deleted a blog post? Either because you lost your internet connection and it didn’t save or for some other weird reason?
That’s what happened to me.
I somehow managed to delete the copy for my new sales page and let me tell ya, that sorta thing pretty much ruins your day.
In trying to figure out what to do, I noticed something at the bottom of my post editor. There’s a way to recover things that you deleted recently (either because an updated version didn’t save or you flat out deleted the content for the page). Basically, there’s a way for you to access old revisions of your pages.
Recovering Old/Deleted Content:
At the bottom of your post editor, there’s a section that reads “Revisions”:
Clicking on a particular date will take you to a page showing the latest copy of your content for that date.
To recover that content, simply click the “restore” link at the bottom of the page, and you’re back in business!
Disaster averted. Now you know. Thank me later.

P.S. I use Premise for WordPress to build my landing pages. Here’s my review of how/why I use it.

Good to know. I haven’t deleted anything by accident yet, but as Rob said, it’s better to know before tragedy strikes.
