Here’s an interesting app for the iPad designed for Real Estate Agents: Open Home Pro iPad Real Estate App. It allows you to easily collect information about a prospective client. You just punch in their name, email and any additional notes. Then, it auto-emails that prospective client that stopped by the open house and provides a link to the property so that they can view it on a map (pretty neat).
Here’s a quick video from their site with more information:
I see more and more Real Estate Agents with an iPad. My buddy Tony Lazzari just won one in his office contest. I’m always curious to see how real estate agents are using the iPad as an effective marketing tool in Real Estate. Jeff Bernheisel (Marketing Director at M Realty) says they use their HomeQuest tool on the iPad with clients when previewing property.
Still, how’s everyone else using the iPad in Real Estate? Effectively.

Dude, that's awesome. My mom is a RE broker, I'm telling her about this. 🙂

AJ: I don't have an iPad but sounds pretty sweet huh? So long as you can import the contact into your CRM system.

Hey Guys,
Feel free to email me any feedback about Open Home Pro amachado@gmail.com. All the contact information currently gets emailed to the agent and an auto email gets sent to the person who stopped by. You can import the data as you choose into your personal CRM, Excel or address book in the iPad.
Also thanks for writing about us 🙂

Andrew: Kudos for being attentive and thanks for the clarification. Love that the auto-email goes out to the person who stopped by AND that the agent gets an email with all of the contact information.
My pleasure. Looks like a good app! (Now if I only had an iPad, heh).

Wow… cool app… can't wait to try it out! Thanks Ricardo for always being on top of the latest technology!

Irina: Would love to hear your feedback if and when you try it. Sounds like a neat app and you can import contacts into your CRM since the data is emailed to you in addition to the auto-followup email to the client.
I don't have an iPad. So it'd be neat to hear creative ways people are using it effectively.

An Update. I told iTunes to roll it out to all stores worldwide. You should see it soon in your country.

Ricardo,
Great app suggestion I will share this with our brokers. What are some of your other favorite iPad apps for real estate?
Thanks for posting.
