I’m happy to announce that I’ll be speaking at REBlogworld this year alongside Stacey Harmon with Harmon Enterprises. We’ll be discussing the anatomy of a Real Estate Blog. Things like:
- Plugin’s and Themes for building a WordPress site that WOW’s your customers,
- Plugin’s that add functionality to your site’s design (on the front and back-end),
- Case Studies of Real Estate and Mortgage Professionals using WordPress as the foundation of their online presence,
Where You Come In:
I’m looking for examples of sites (in both Real Estate and Lending) who are using WordPress in a creative way! What are you doing that’s different? What are the results that you’re seeing? I’d love to hear from you and add your site to some of our featured Case Studies!
You can either drop a comment below to nominate someone or send an email to: ricardo (at) ricardobueno (dot) com.

This whole site isn't in WordPress but the blog is: http://www.hawkes-bay.co.nz/ It was designed by my company Mucho. If we were designing the whole thing again today we'd use WordPress for everything, it's come on so much since we designed that site in about 2005.
Our client gets a lot of new business through this site – it's clean and user friendly as well as offering a stunning portfolio for his properties.
We are currently working out how to translate it into other lanugages (Asian languages) to reach a wider market.
The speaking engagement sounds fun, look forward to hearing how it goes:)

Annabel: thanks for the comment. After looking at the site, I really like the prominent image/property display. When you click on it, it takes you straight to a page where you can view more photos and get a property description.
Since consumers who visit a site such as this are looking for “real estate” (searching for homes) first and foremost, that's a very important feature.
Thanks for the comment and sharing the site. Definitely lookin' forward to REBlogworld 2010!
