At last week’s RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) International Conference I had the pleasure of presenting alongside Branding & Marketing Expert David Avrin. Internationally known as the “Visibility Coach,” David talked about just that…the importance and power of visibility for a company. In this 3:38 sec interview with David, he answered the following questions:
- How do you gain visibility in the marketplace? More specifically, in a crowded marketplace?
- What’s the biggest challenge businesses face in marketing themselves?
Interview with David Avrin (The Visibility Coach):
The biggest challenge any small business (especially Real Estate) faces is that of gaining visibility in the marketplace. All things being equal, how do you differentiate yourself from your competitors? David addresses these points and more in his new book. I’m only a few chapters in but can already tell you that it’s definitely going on my “Top Recommendations” List.
In the meantime, what about you? What’s your biggest marketing challenge as a small business? Let us know in the comments below as Stacey Soleil and I hope to have David join us on our podcast soon…

Need to discover my X-factor so I can stand out from the crowd and that means I am going to have to get the book. I don't want to be the local “tanning salon” in my business.

I'm a big believer in the power of a THRILLED customer. I'm not talking about a “happy” customer, I'm talking about someone who was absolutely and completely ecstatic about their experience from working with you. It only takes a few of those before you have nowhere to hide from all the great referrals that will coming your way.

Dan: Hiya Dan! Apologies for the delayed response here… Personally, I really dig this book. Sure I'm biased because I've met David in person and I think he's a good guy and all but the book really is excellent. It's written in a great format and a very conversational tone and it's riddled with great stories/examples. Basically, my kinda reading!
If ya pick it up, let me know what you think. And thanks for stopping by the site!

And how right you are Jon! And after all, they say your clients are your best marketers!
