How do you get people to trust you?
How do you get people coming back to your site each and every single day?
Recommending your services time and time again?
The answer is simple:
Be consistent.
Show up, every single day.
Be helpful.
Answer questions.
Be honest.
Take the time to do things right, the first time.
If you don’t know the answer, find the answer.
But don’t pitch.
Do what you say you’re going to do.
Not just every once in a while.
Every. Single. Day.
Being good every single day, beats the hell out of being good every once in a while (or never at all).
Being consistently good says we can count on you.
It gets people to recommend you because they know that you always seem to have the answers. They say things like:
You should talk to this guy, he always knows the answer… And if he doesn’t, I’m sure he can help you figure it out.
It’s a long-term strategy, but it’s simple. And it works. Just start each day by asking yourself: Who can I help today?
Then go out there and do it.

This is my aim with my blog, and one of the reasons why I’ve called my contact tab Contact/Questions. In my author bio I also have an open call to ask me questions, I love the feeling you get when someone finds the answer they were looking for, and you were the one to help them, it’s a “warm fuzzy cuddly” feeling 😉
I also created a stereotypical customer for my blog as part of some ebook courses I did, so if I’m ever in doubt then I try to think “what could I do next to help him?”.

Totally agree with you! It’s a really great feeling when a customer gets that “aha!” moment because they’ve figured out how to do something and YOU were the one that helped them.
Also, love that you created a customer profile! A step many people skip, but very effective.

The most effective resource anyone can have, in relationships with others, is believe in. Trust is the variety one value between events of any connections.
