Cirque du Soleil has been doing a lot to connect with local bloggers and influencers in an effort to help spread the word about their various shows and the various brands that encompass each show. Cirque itself is a large entertainment brand in and of itself. Each show however, it’s is own unique brand. So how do you spread the word about each of the varying shows while growing and maintaining the greater entertainment brand that is Cirque du Soleil?
Here’s a brief interview with Jess Berlin, Social Media Manager for Cirque du Soleil:
Artistic. Captivating. Beautiful. Cirque du Soleil is that and so much more. For the last two years, Jess Berlin (Social Media Manager for Cirque du Soleil), has been providing the opportunity for Blogworld attendees to experience what Cirque du Soleil has to offer. If you have not yet had the opportunity to experience a show, I highly recommend it. The only problem is, I wouldn’t know what show to tell you to watch because each one offers it’s own unique experience.
Personally, I’ve seen three shows: KÀ, Mystère, and Zumanity. KÀ was full of drama and excitement. Mystère was full of laughter and joy. And Zumanity was, well… Sexy, artistic and beautiful. I can’t tell you whether you’d enjoy one or the other. They hit on different emotions. But the hard work and precision that the artists, writers and musicians put into it is amazing. It’s perfection. If you’re in Vegas, don’t miss out on the opportunity to catch a show.
What show(s) have you seen? How did it make you feel?

Thanks for this post! I am going to Blog World, and there is no way I'll miss it! Great interview by the way, a little blurry, but really great questions. It was interesting to hear what she does for Cirque. 🙂

AJ: If you squint your eyes, you can see it a little bit better, no? Heh. Sorry, technical issues with the camera but it was great to spend a few minutes with Jess and learn about some of the things they're doing to get the word out about each of their different shows and the different brand experiences that make up each.
Cirque has done a phenomenal job of reaching out to bloggers and getting the word out about each of their different experiences.
Look forward to catching up with you then!

Ricardo, Jess is fantastic. She is on top of things, very responsive, and, well, awesome. I wish we could see her face better in the video (it wasn't focused!), but I really enjoyed listening to her social media campaign for Cirque.
I have seen all of the Cirque shows in Vegas except for Zumanity.
My favorite is KA — I have seen it three times, and plan to see it again soon. I recently saw the new Elvis show, which was different than other Cirque shows, but fascinating and cool at the same time. I saw LOVE when it was in previews a few years ago and that was another unique and different take on the Cirque format.
We will be at the Bellagio during Blogworld this year, so we may see O again, since it has been a number of years since we have seen that one.
I missed meeting Jess at last year's BWE, hopefully this year I will get to meet her IRL!

Marney: sorry about the video resolution (that was my fault). She's done an amazing job growing/representating Cirque in the digital space. She puts the same amount of effort and delivery that the artists and performers do in their shows.
Zumanity (and KA) happen to be my favorite! Really, I loved Zumanity so much. “O” is one that I have not yet seen but have heard many great things.
Blogworld will be busy this year, but I'm sure (and I hope) you two will get a chance to meet 🙂
